Mr. Frees is a Vice President at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Frees worked as a Director at Guardian Life Insurance focused on High Yield Credit and CLOs. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Frees was an Associate at BlackRock. Mr. Frees holds a BS in Business Administration from Seton Hall University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University.
