Mr. Simmons is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Simmons served as a Managing Director at Guardian Life Insurance and its wholly owned investment advisor, Park Avenue Institutional Advisers, where he focused on high yield corporate debt and leveraged loans. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Simmons spent 13 years at Citigroup Investments and its predecessors, Travelers and Primerica, and five years at SunAmerica Asset Management. Mr. Simmons holds a BA in Business from State University of New York, Albany.
