Mr. Bunting is an Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Bunting was a Senior Director at Guardian Life Insurance, where he was a fixed income credit analyst covering high yield and leveraged loans in the technology and homebuilding/construction sectors. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Bunting was a Director in Leveraged Finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he specialized in leveraged loans and high yield bonds across a variety of sectors. Prior to his career in financial services, Mr. Bunting was an engineer. Mr. Bunting holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
