Mr. Dorenfeld is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners and has been responsible for power and renewables transactions at HPS since joining in 2015. Prior to joining HPS, Mr. Dorenfeld spent 10 years in the Power & Utilities Investment Banking Group at Citigroup. In this role, he focused on advising power and renewable energy companies, infrastructure funds and private equity sponsors on strategic initiatives, including structured debt and equity transactions in support of power generation development, construction and acquisitions. Mr. Dorenfeld is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
