Mr. Atkinson is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2020, Mr. Atkinson was a Senior Vice President at GIC and the Head of Direct Investments in the Private Credit Group, responsible for senior and mezzanine debt investments in private equity-backed companies. Before GIC, Mr. Atkinson was a Vice President at Partners Group in London, where he sourced and executed mezzanine and direct lending investments. Prior to Partners Group, Mr. Atkinson was an Assistant Director at N M Rothschild & Sons and an Assistant Manager at Allied Irish Banks UK. Mr. Atkinson holds a BA (Hons) in Business with French from the Southampton Institute of Higher Education.
