Mr. Chun is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners and is the Portfolio Manager of the Asia Long Short Credit Fund. Prior to joining HPS in 2016, Mr. Chun was a Portfolio Manager at Claren Road Asset Management, where he established the Hong Kong office in 2008 and was Co-Head of the firm’s Asian business strategy. Prior to joining Claren Road, Mr. Chun spent 14 years at Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director and responsible for Asian Credit Trading. Prior to moving to Hong Kong in 2001, Mr. Chun traded high yield in New York, focusing on Emerging Market corporate debt. Mr. Chun began his career at Salomon Brothers Sales and Trading Program. Mr. Chun holds a BS from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
