Mr. Younan is a Managing Director and the Vice Chairman of International at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2021, Mr. Younan held various roles at Goldman, Sachs & Co. over a 29-year tenure in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. Until his retirement in April 2021, Mr. Younan served for 15 years as Chief Executive Officer of Goldman, Sachs & Co. for the Middle East and North Africa region. Prior to that, Mr. Younan was the head of Goldman Sachs' Fixed Income, Currency, & Commodities Division in Asia Pacific (ex-Japan). Mr. Younan started his career at The First National Bank of Chicago and served in Chicago, Seoul, and Dubai. Mr. Younan holds a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.
