Mr. Liggio is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Liggio was Head of Public Fixed Income at Guardian Life Insurance and its wholly owned investment advisor, Park Avenue Institutional Advisers. At Guardian, Mr. Liggio ran the high yield and bank loan platform, including the CLO’s and multi-asset portfolios. Prior to joining Guardian in 2016, Mr. Liggio invested as an Analyst, Trader and Portfolio Manager in the loan and high yield asset class at Castle Hill Asset Management, Dendera Capital, Par-IV Investment Management, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and The Bank of New York. Mr. Liggio began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Liggio is a CFA charterholder and holds a BS in Accounting from Fairfield University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
