Mr. Ashley is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners and co-Portfolio Manager of the Asset Value Funds.  Prior to joining HPS in 2014, Mr. Ashley was a Managing Director of Fortress Investment Group since its founding in 1998.  Mr. Ashley was most recently in charge of the firm's Private Equity business in Europe and was a member of the firm's management committee. Prior to that, Mr. Ashley was responsible for the global capital markets activities of the Private Equity business. Prior to Fortress, Mr. Ashley worked at UBS, Blackrock, Morgan Stanley and Skadden Arps. Mr. Ashley holds a BA from Tufts University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
