Mr. Happe is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2025, Mr. Happe was Group Chief Investment Officer at Resolution Life Insurance. Prior to Resolution Life, Mr. Happe was Chief Investment Officer for Insurance and Regulated Client Strategies at Allianz Global Investors, after being Head of Fixed Income Strategy for the Allianz Group. Mr. Happe held prior roles at McKinsey & Company, FleetBoston Financial Corporation, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Happe holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from INSEAD.
