Mr. Bennett is an Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Bennett was Assistant General Counsel at Guardian Life Insurance, where he provided legal advice on investments transactions. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Bennett was General Counsel at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (“A&P”). Prior to A&P, Mr. Bennett was in private practice at several law firms, most recently at Schulte Roth & Zabel. Mr. Bennett holds a BA in Political Science from Kean University and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law.
