Mr. Tang is an Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Tang was a Senior Director at Guardian Life Insurance where he focused on global banks, brokers and asset managers, and industrial public credits. Prior to Guardian, Mr. Tang was a Vice President at Merganser Capital Management. Mr. Tang held previous roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Opus Investment Management. Mr. Tang is a CFA charterholder and holds a BSBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Boston University Questrom School of Management.
