Mr. Powell is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2024, Mr. Powell was a Managing Director at Guardian Life Insurance for 10 years. Mr. Powell has held prior roles at MetLife, Lincoln National, and Northwestern Mutual. Mr. Powell is a CFA charterholder and holds a BA in Telecommunications and an MBA from Indiana University.
